Buyer Rebate for Home Buyers
As someone who’s bought a home before, you know that buying a home is a big deal. It can be hard to find the ideal home, get the down payment to pay for it and then outfit your home with all the things you find you need after you move in. And we all know how expensive housing is nowadays in Colorado.
You can help your friends, family or co-workers get money back at closing when they buy a home this year.
Right now, The Principal Team is offering a special rebate for home buyers who work with us. That includes you or anyone you know who could benefit.
For a limited time, we’re offering to rebate 25% of our commission to buyers who work with us to purchase a home*.
Buyers who sign a buyer agency agreement with us between February 4th and May 1st, 2020 can receive a rebate at closing. This could mean thousands of dollars in your pocket – or in your friend’s, family member’s or co-worker’s pocket.
You’re eligible for this rebate! You can also share this rebate with anyone you know who could benefit from getting money back when they close on their next home purchase.

*Terms and Conditions for the Buyer Rebate
The Principal Team will rebate buyer up to 25% of the net Buyer’s Agent Commission, subject to receipt of Cooperating Buyer Broker Commission from the Listing Broker. The final rebate amount will vary based on final purchase price and the commission rate offered by the seller (typically 2.5% to 3%).
To be eligible for the rebate, buyer must use The Principal Team as their Buyer Broker and sign a buyer agency agreement with The Principal Team before May 1, 2020. If the transaction does not close or if we do not receive compensation as the Cooperating Buyer Broker, no buyer rebate will be due.
The rebate is subject to a minimum net commission of $3,500 to The Principal Team after taking into account the Buyer Rebate. Any Listing Broker or MLS fees or charges passed on to The Principal Team as the Buyer Broker will be deducted from the gross commission before calculating the Buyer Rebate.
Lender approval is required. Some lenders may not allow Buyer Rebate, or, depending on the contract, concessions, mortgage product and financing terms, some lenders may not allow Buyer to receive the full rebate from The Principal Team. We strongly advise buyers to talk with their lender in advance about their anticipated Buyer’s Rebate.
